Holidays

I hope you are all having a great holiday. I am sure Ashleigh and Jennifer are enjoying Los Angeles and New South Wales, respectively. Jennifer, you must have managed to avoid the great dust storm last Wednesday to get there.
My thoughts this morning are with Raechel and her family as I hear on the news of the earthquake and tsunami near American Samoa in the Pacific. Raechel is in Western Samoa visiting her family, which is in the same region. I hope they are all safe and well. I know we will all be more relaxed when we hear more news of what has happened in Samoa. Stay safe everyone.

Bubblemania

Hello Isabel
We hope you are continuing to have a great holiday. Thanks for your regular posts, it's great to hear your news.
All students have "must dos" and "can dos" this week, tasks to complete before the end of term. They are all getting through a lot of work and there are some great stories being published. You will be amazed at some of the bubble learning students have included in their comic life documents.
We have made some amazing bubbles this week, the biggest over 1 metre long and 8ocm wide, using a wire coathanger bubble thrower. I will add a photo of it in action. The cones have worked well too.
We hope to be able to play our last netball game of the term tomorrow, although it has been wet and cold all week, so it may be cancelled.
We have had small classes this week as many students have been away with colds and flus, one day there were 12 students away.
Remember to check out the wiki and the school website for the latest newsletters for you and your mum and dad.
We look forward to hearing more news.

How to upload a photo.

Hi Ashleigh
It is good to see you are having a neat holiday, and yes I did see Tamati in NP and was looking out for you. I see you are having cold weather there too.
At the top of the window where you write your blogpost you will see a small photo. If you hold the mouse over it it will say "add image" Click on that to browse (find) a photo on your computer to upload it. If you can make it a smaller size it will upload more quickly. You can choose where on you blog you want it to be and make it medium size. Where the photo appears in your "Create blog" window it will show as a lot of words but when you view the blog it will be the photo. Then save it.
The students are going to be posting a blog post for you soon.
